Craniosacral Therapy and Birth Trauma
Part 1

Craniosacral Therapy is widely known for its work resolving the effects of birth trauma in babies. The forces that the body undergoes whilst being expelled from the womb are enormous and frequently have a lasting impact.

These effects often go unrecognised and consequently untreated, which can lead to life-long patterns of imbalance and ill-health, as the body grows into misalignment.

Infancy and early childhood are the most important time to resolve birth trauma patterns, as many of the bones of the cranium and body remain unfused and incomplete until several years after birth. Addressing compression, restriction and imbalance before the bones fuse together can avoid a life-time of structural, health and emotional issues that are frequently directly related to the nature of one’s birth.
